6 Best KPIs From This Week

This week was the heart of earnings season. More than 4,000 companies reported their quarterly numbers including several of the Magnificent 7 stocks (Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft).

With the FinChat data team parsing through most of the reports (as they do every quarter), here were the 6 best that we found:

Spotify has seen remarkable operating leverage over the last 2 years.

Free cash flow has gone from $55 million to $2.83 billion in 24 months.

Language learnings app Duolingo added 13 million new MAUs this quarter, which is an all-time record for the company.

Duolingo's growth is proving far more resilient than the market expected.

During a quarter when virtually every fast-food chain reported a slowdown in comp stores sales, Taco Bell delivered 9% same store sales growth.

Their fastest growth in 3 years.

During a quarter when both AWS and Google Cloud saw a slowdown in their revenue growth, Microsoft Azure reported an acceleration thanks to particular strength in its AI segment.

Mobile gaming app Roblox added 13 million Daily Active Users this quarter which is an all time record for the company.

Roblox now has 98 million DAUs, up 4x over the last 5 years.

AAON's commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems have been in high demand thanks to the rapid growth of Data Center spending.

AAON's total backlog is up 84% compared to a year ago.
